The challenge
Following a major policy change, the agency needed to rapidly establish a secure and scalable platform to support a complex national operational process.
Key challenges included high transaction volumes under time pressure, multiple stakeholder groups including external users, strict compliance and security requirements, and limited capability within existing systems.
Delivered as part of a national public safety initiative requiring rapid, secure, and scalable digital capability.
What we did
We designed and implemented a cloud-native Azure platform, forming a core part of the programme’s digital enablement.
This included a secure portal for external stakeholders, scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines, an integrated analytics environment, and optimised data models for operational reporting.
Advanced analytics capability was embedded to enhance decision-making across the operation.
Outcome
The platform provided a robust capability for national operational demand, reduced manual coordination and processing overhead, and improved end-to-end visibility of operational workflows.
It also enhanced the agency’s ability to make timely, data-informed decisions.
